- 4 COBOL Developers
JOB DESCRIPTION
For Team Leader:
- Lead and manage COBOL development projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
For COBOL Developers:
- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize existing COBOL programs for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
For Team Leader:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL development.
- Has interpersonal & leadership skills and able to manage a team.
- Ability to mentor and motivate team members.
For COBOL Developers:
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience in COBOL programming.
- Proficient in web development technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS).
- Familiarity with at least one common database management system (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Energetic, creative, and capable of self-study.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
